About this deal

The CO 2 laser produces a beam of infrared light with the principal wavelength bands centering on 9.6 and 10.6 micrometers (μm). This machine comes almost fully assembled so you can use it virtually straight out of the box, and has a number of built-in safety features for maximum safety. It’s designed to be used with Lightburn, although you have to buy the program separately. Alternatively, an RDWorks software license comes included.

Engraving: F2 and F4 CO2 laser tubes have excellent performances in laser engraving,, under preionization conditions and a current of 5mA. (F2 CO2 laser tubes require a 4mA current). Our laser tubes can carry out high-frequency pulse engraving. EFR A Series Laser Tube In most cases, average output powers are between some tens of watts and many kilowatts. The power conversion efficiency can be around 10% to 20%, i.e., it is higher than for most gas lasers (due to a particularly favorable excitation pathway), also higher than for lamp-pumped solid-state lasers, but lower than for many diode-pumped lasers.cutting and structuring plastic materials, wood, die boards, glass pieces, etc., which exhibit high absorption at 10.6μm, mostly applying moderate power levels of 20–200W While most commercially available CO 2 lasers emit at the standard wavelength of 10.6μm, there are devices which are specially optimized for other wavelengths such as 10.25μm or 9.3μm, which are far better suited for certain applications for example in laser material processing because that radiation is much more absorbed in certain materials (e.g. polymers). For making such lasers and for using their radiation, one may require special infrared optics, as standard transmissive 10.6-μm optics may e.g. exhibit too strong reflections. With a small light spot, stable performance and service life of 6,000 hours, EFR's 200W CO 2 Laser tube can be applied to different laser machining equipment, including laser engraving machines, laser cutting machines, laser marking machines and laser die cutting machines. Storage and Transportation Requirements:When storing and transporting the CO 2 Laser tube, please drain the cooling liquid and cover the tube ends with dustproof plastic bags. For storage, the required environmental temperature is 2-40℃ and the humidity ranges from 10-60%. If you are able, it is always best to use a fully enclosed cooler or chiller unit. One w hich measures both temperature and water flow. This unit should not only give an alarm if there is a problem but stop the laser from operating without sufficient cooling. It only takes a couple of minutes to ruin a tube through overheating. Typically a laser tube should be running at between 15C and 25C, as the temperature rises the efficiency of the tube decreases, resulting in a lower power output.

The main difference between this model and the others on our list is its size and laser power. It’s the biggest, with a working area of 24”x16” (610x406mm), which is larger than the xTool P2 and far larger than the Polar 350. It also has passthrough doors, so you can feed through even longer materials. It also has optimized features like water cooling and an air compressor, which not only means it works for longer, but it also means it’s safer and boasts the precision of up to 1/1000 of an inch. Source: YouTube This is why it is so important to ensure you are being given the rated power of the tube and not the max power. For example, if we look at the EFR CL800 tube; this is 800mm / 31.5″ long, 50mm / 2″ in diameter, has a rated value of 40 watts and a max power of 50 watts. The tube is only classed as a warranty failure if its output power falls below 32 watts in the warranty period of 180 days. So you believe you are buying a 50-watt machine, yet the laser tube could be outputting as little as 33 watts and still be within the manufacturer’s specification. Let’s not forget the 10~12% loss across the optics, leaving you with just 30 watts at the work surface. Long Service Life: Due to the galvanization of the catalyst inside and specially treated electrodes, the discharge tube has a better stability, and a long service life of up to 6,000 hours, ensuring long term reliable operations. F08 The quality is reliable due to the adoption of the latest technology during the production process, moreover, it also improves the stability of the product structure, to some extent, improved the beam-spot output mode. Compared to other types of products, it

The population inversion in the laser is achieved by the following sequence: electron impact excites the {v1(1)} quantum vibrational modes of nitrogen. Because nitrogen is a homonuclear molecule, it cannot lose this energy by photon emission, and its excited vibrational modes are therefore metastable and relatively long-lived. N The CO 2 laser ( carbon dioxide laser) is a molecular gas laser with emission in the long-wavelength infrared spectral region. It is based on a gas mixture as the gain medium, which contains carbon dioxide (CO 2), helium (He), nitrogen (N 2), and possibly some hydrogen (H 2), oxygen (O 2), water vapor and/or xenon (Xe). Such a laser is electrically pumped via an electrical gas discharge, which can be operated with DC current, with AC current (e.g. 20–50kHz) or in the radio frequency (RF) domain. I’ve seen reports that the tubes are rated for 1000 or 2000 hours (I assume working hours). If the tubes are decent quality and you don’t overdrive them (see point 5 above) or overheat them, they should last much longer. The tubes appear to be 850mm long and are likely to comply with the stated 40~45 Watt power output. What Next? When testing the light spot on organic glass, please keep the organic glass 300mm away from the window. Barton, Fritz (2014). "Skin Resurfacing". In Charles Thorne (ed.). Grabb and Smith's Plastic Surgery (7ed.). Philadelphia: Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. p.455. ISBN 978-1-4511-0955-9. For practical purposes, there are three methods of resurfacing: mechanical sanding (dermabrasion), chemical burn (chemical peels), and photodynamic treatments (laser ablation or coagulation).
